Alessandro Greco is back on TV at the helm of Cook40′new program broadcast from Saturday 9 April at 12 on Rai 2 dedicated to those who do not have much time to devote to cooking.
The idea of the broadcast stems from a question common to many: how many times have we given up on a lunch or dinner with friends, colleagues or even relatives, because we thought we didn’t have enough time to prepare something to eat? Here then is the format that has the
peculiarity told in its title: “40”, in fact, are the minutes we will need to prepare, not a single dish, but a menu consisting of an appetizer, first course, second course, side dish and dessert.
Cook40′ combines traditional cooking: hobs, plates and oven with the automated cooking of food processors. It will propose its menus by exploring the entire panorama of the gastronomic offer available today, passing from the typical cuisine to the gourmet one, from the Italian tradition to the international one, not forgetting the ethnic one.

Cook40′ is a TV format that teaches how to extricate yourself from raw materials, utensils and kitchen equipment with useful, curious and entertaining information. In each episode, Alessandro Greco will introduce two “competitors” who love to cook but who are not professional chefs to whom he will propose two different menus designed to be made in 40 minutes with the mixed cooking technique. Therefore, the techniques for preparing the material, the ability to use the various cooking systems and the precise sequence of actions to guarantee the preparation of the different courses will be very important.
Judging the realization of the menus proposed in an episode to the two protagonists, a kitchen expert who will evaluate the individual stages of preparation, cooking and success, determining the winner of the episode.
